Spinning out of the their 10th anniversary drum set, Ddrum has come up with the brand new MAX Series. The new kits will make their world debut at the Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California next week.
According to Ddrum, the MAX series has a great pitch and sustain through the entire tuning range because it pairs the dark, focused and warm tone of alder with the cut, sustain and presence of maple.
Ddrum states that alder wood provides a natural separation between each note in the drum set arsenal, allowing every drum size to sit perfectly in the mix, whether live or in the studio.
Two core configurations allow customization of the kit size with selected add-on toms, bass drums, and two depths of snare drum.
Integrated Fixtpitch mounting hardware featured on all toms, and solid brass tube lugs included on toms and bass drums. Bass drums also include Resolift isolators and all of the shell hardware is plated in black nickel.
MAX series kits are available in gloss black and satin natural, as well as a limited edition Purple Sparkle Burst exclusive to the 2016 launch of the series.
