Since 2013, after separating ways with Yamaha, Sakae Rhythm have been building their brand name Sakae Drums. With success. The drums and finishes they showed at NAMM 2015 are again of the highest level in the market. Sakae has great sounding drums, with a true philosophy, a heart and the drums are of great craftsmanship. Not surprising considering the company has been building drums since 1925. And after doing so for some 50 years for Yamaha, including the classic 9000/Recording Custom, Maple Custom and pretty much all top end Yamaha kits, the company decided to give the sound of Sakae a change in the world.
The list of global Sakae distributors and dealers is still growing. If you have the change, go try them out at a dealer at your location. For now, here are the new for 2015 Sakae introduced at the winter NAMM show 2015. James Wyrick, Sales and Brand Manager Sakae drums with Korg USA, tells you all about the Sakae's.
