Chad Smith Signature Tricolon Free-floating Snare Drum
The new Chad Smith Tricolon Free-Floater snare drum is a limited edition with only 50 pieces available in de US and 25 in Europe. It takes its name from the Latin phrase meaning three equal parts. The drum features three interchangeable 3mm rolled shell rings housed in Pearl’s Free Floating snare frame. With two rings of brass and one of steel. When you stack the rings in different orders the tone of the snare drum changes. It has total resonant freedom from attachment hardware.
