Evans Emad Heavyweight Bass Batter
The Emad Heavyweight bass batter head redefines the sonic capabilities of the acoustic bass drum. Combining two plies of identical 10mil film with the Emad system, the Heavyweight Bass Batter is the thickest, most durable bass head in the Evans product line. Two different muffling rings are provided in order to adjust sustain and tonal focus. According to Evans it will give maximum low-frequency response with accentuated attack.

Evans Heavyweight Snare Batter
The Heavyweight snare batter head is the thickest, most durable film-based drumhead in the Evans product line. Designed with the heavy hitter in mind, the Heavyweight is 23mil thick at the center of the head. While thicker heads often 'choke out' due to extreme mass, the Heavyweight should reverse dot patch flexes and allows for a wider dynamic range.
