Even though it might have looked like Yamaha wasn't introducing that much new stuff, all of the new introductions at NAMM 2011 were pretty impressive. Naturally, the biggest highlight is the reissue of the original Recording Custom. Although only available in the USA, the three limited editions make a stand with all the original specifications of the 70's and 80's kits. In the videos below, Jim Haler, Product Manager and Manager of Sales, informs you on the Club Custom Kit and the Stage Custom Bop as well.

Club Custom Kit Constructed and designed in partnership with Steve Jordan, using only 100% premium quality Kapur shells and boasting an eye-catching retro 'swirl' painted finish, the swirl lacquer finish and the Kapur shells deliver another dimension in sound and design.
Stage Custom Bop A kit every drummer should have. It is a small three-piece set with 100% birch shells. As humbly as Yamaha is, these drums are designed for second-kit use. However. the performance is just a big as any venue needs and PA systems can take.
Recording Custom The Recording Custom is a limited edition. There are only 45 made in the available colors: Mellow Yellow, Hot Red and Stage White. Check out the videos below and you will love these beautiful drum sets.
At the Music Messe 2011 in Frankfurt, Yamaha will introduce more new products, including new digital drums. For now, Jim Haler shows you all the new NAMM drum sets and gives you full details on every kit.
