Last but not least, the renowned Swiss cymbal maker has announced that a new worldwide two year warranty policy is in effect as of January 1, 2011.

Reintroduction of Formula 602 series
Back in 1959 Paiste launched a series that was soon adopted by well-known drummers and percussionists such as Joe Morello, Art Blakey, and Ndugu Chancler among others. Formula 602s were especially coveted as the ultimate cymbal in softer genres of music for more than three decades. With the advent of increasing volume through amplification and electronic music, demand began falling away The Formula 602 series ceased in the 1990s. Now that the warmth of the traditional CuSn20 bronze and the superior sound quality are back in demand, Paiste has decided to reintroduce of the most popular Formula 602 range of models.

Alpha Swiss Crashes
At NAMM 2011 Paiste will also present the Alpha Swiss Crashes, sound-wise a remarkable novelty in the Paiste program. According to a press release, the sound of these crashes is explosive, forceful, trashy and mysterious. Due to the special placement and sizes of the holes the Swiss Crash fades out quite fast and balanced.

Twenty Masters Collection
Also new are Paiste's Twenty Masters Collection, an assemblage of hand-manufactured cymbals made of CuSn20 bronze and featuring eleven ride models, including:

• The Dark Rides, available in 20" and 22", created to meet the requirements of jazz drummers that seek vintage sound.
  
• The Dark Crisp Rides, somewhat heavier than the Dark Rides and suitable for drummers in medium-loud settings that need more stick definition but don’t want to miss the lively intensity.
  
• The 20" and 21" Dark Dry Ride featuring a raw surface with numerous hammering marks and graced by wide lathing.
  
• A 24" Deep Ride that weighs in at more than 10 pounds and was developed in collaboration with studio-master John "JR" Robinson. According to a press release, this model is a stylistically versatile ride cymbal that remains defined at all dynamic levels and provides both warmth and depth.

22" Professional Cymbalbag Trolley
Paiste's popular Professional Cymbal Bag, road-tested by many of their endorsees when touring the world, is now available in a trolley-version. Like with a regular luggage case the bag features an adjustable handle, durable wheels and rucksack straps.
