Brazilian Caixa snare drum The “snare drum” played in Samba music is called the Caixa (Kai-sha). Pearl’s new Caixa (PBC1204) eatures a 12”x4” wood shell, drum key tunable textured heads, and SR-018 style throw-off.
It can be played traditionally around the shoulder with the provided strap, or attached to a stand as an auxiliary snare to your drum kit. Not only will it catch your eye with its yellow, green, and blue Brazilian colors but it’ll also cut through any style of music. List price is $132.00.
Brazilian Surdos and Bass Drum Adaptor Pearl’s new Surdos (PBS1822, PBS2222) are the bass-voice and foundation of their Brazilian Percussion Line. The lightweight wood shells allows for hours of comfortable play when worn over the shoulder with the provided strap. They are available in 18”x22” and 22”x22” sizes (diameter x depth) and include two-ply tunable heads with an outer ply of synthetic leather for accentuated low–end frequencies.
Pearl\'s patent-pending Leg/Bass Drum Adaptor Kit (PBS30BD) allows your Surdo to be played vertically like a floor tom or horizontally with a pedal like a bass drum. Pearl’s patented Air-Suspension feet provide resonance and solid grip to minimize sliding on any floor surface. The yellow plastic covering with green and blue accents highlight the colors of Brazil.
The list price for the 18\"x22” Surdo is $399.00, 22”x22” Surdo: $430.00, and PBS30BD Leg/Bass Drum Adaptor Kit $99.00.
36 bar windchimes Pearl’s new 36 Bar Aluminum Chromatic windchimes (PWCH3620A) feature self-dampening parallel swinging chimes for controlled chime sound. A soft roll-up carrying case is included that doubles as a towel that can be draped over a (horizontal) music stand to act as a trap table. The case includes a storage compartment for the optional PWH-20 Windchime Holder. The parallel chime design and bonus carrying case is standard on all 2008 Pearl windchimes. List price is $189.00.
Anarchy Block There’s nothing nice about Pearl’s Anarchy Block (PBL100) unless an all black, spike-riddled, ear-splitting synthetic wood block tempts your musical soul. The newest addition to complement the popular Anarchy Cowbell, this block will cut like an axe through the heaviest metal rhythm sections as a piercing alternative to a rim-shot. The swivel mount makes it convenient to place virtually anywhere within your drum kit via any standard 3/8” percussion post. Obey no rules with the Pearl Anarchy Block! List price is $39.00
Shékere Holder Incorporating a Shékere into your percussion kit is typically awkward: putting it on the floor makes accessibility difficult and placing it on a trap table takes up valuable space! Pearl’s new Shékere Holder (PPS45) solves this by mounting your Shékere conveniently from any standard 3/8” post.
The “basket” design keeps your Shékere handy for quick instrument changes and flipping the Shékere over allows the bottom to be played with your hands for a totally different approach. The PPS45 fits most gourd sizes. List price is $24.00
Ultra Grip Tambourine with Jingle Control Pearl’s Ultra Grip Tambourine with Jingle Control features an Ultra-Grip’s ski-pole like ergonomic shape which is positioned near the tambourine’s center of gravity for comfortable and effortless playing.
The revolutionary Jingle Control Discs allow the jingles to be selectively muted to control the volume of your tambourine to complement your playing style. Each Ultra Grip Tambourine is equipped with Pearl’s QuickMount holder that allows the tambourine to go from mounted to hand-held with a flick of your wrist.

The front plate is designed for maximum bass and super-sensitive snare response. List price: $165.00.

The stand includes a “Y” bracket that attaches to the bottom of your Travel Conga and mounts to the stand centered directly under the drum for maximum stability.
The Travel Conga stand comes with a carrying bag that includes a pocket for the optional PPS50TC Bridge that connects two stands together to minimize creeping while performing.
