Thomas McGowan joined the Tyler Junior College music faculty in the fall of 2001 and is currently serving as Associate Director of Bands plus Percussion Instructor.

He has built Tyler Jr. College\'s program from nothing to earning a world championship in the last three years. The group has made WGI Finals every year and won the WGI Open Class World Championship in 2008 with their show \"Body Language\".
