It will be held during the 5th edition of the International Festival “Days of Percussion” with Master classes, Clinics, Concerts and expositions in the Conservatory of Music. The deadline to submit is June 7th - 2007.

Musicians from every Country can participate in the Competition, without limits of age.

The Competition is addressed to composers for percussions and it will be divided into 5 sections.

1 - One percussionist
2 - Duo - percussion and piano
3 - One percussionist and Orchestra
4 - Only percussions from Duo to Sextet
5 - Percussions and other instruments from Duo to Sextet (*)

(*) More than one percussion, voice and electronic instrument may be used.

Performance
The Soloists will be divided in 2 age categories and 5 instrument sections: Marimba, Vibraphone, Timpani, Snare Drum and Drumset

Musicians from every Country can participate in the Competition. There is no limit of age for compositors, whereas soloists will be divided in two categories with a limit age of 21 and 30 years old.
