The \"Dead Area thrash attack\" called Skulls and Flames, featuring Mike D. on drums, have announced their break-up after almost 6 years. The group state on their MySpace profile:\"[Guitarist] Dave decide to stop with Skulls And Flames. We had a great time these last 6 years, but SAF with out one of us isn\'t saf. So no new 6 string assault freak here.\"
Skulls and Flames will record their last full length this summer and hope to release it before their last tour through Spain in October.
Drummer Mike continues playing drums in Rupsband. He is also playing bass in sludgerock outfit Children Of God.
