Slave To The System, the band featuring Queensrÿche drummer Scott Rockenfield (photo), have issued an update. They state to have enjoyed their shows in the month of April, and are looking forward to put more show dates together for the summer. The members of Slave To The System also talk about their second album. The band write in their statement:\"As has been rumored, the band has 10 new songs already recorded and mixed for the follow-up to the debut album, and the band hopes to have a sophomore release out within the next 8 to 12 months.\"
Slave To The System\'s debut album was released in February 2006, but the band haven\'t been able to announce a full tour because of their other commitments. Singer-guitarist Damon Johnson is a member of Alice Cooper\'s band, and drummer Scott Rockenfield has a busy year ahead of him with Queensrÿche, support of their new album \"Operation: Mindcrime II\".
