Foo Fighters, featuring Taylor Hawkins (photo) behind the kit and Dave Grohl as frontman, have confirmed they are to tour the acoustic side of their recent double album \"In Your Honor\".\"We told everybody we\'re gonna do some acoustic touring, so I guess we\'d better. Instead of going out there and sweating my butt off every night, I\'ll be playing with my brushes quietly and stuff. I think it\'ll be good for us, though, as musicians, to go out and explore that dynamic.\"
The band will be heading out on the road with percussionist Drew Hester. All data and locations have yet to be confirmed.
The percussionist and drummer have worked together before: Hester has been busy producing Hawkins\' new side project Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders.
