This set will reportedly come in an original version with explicit lyrics and a clean version. The release will be available for fans on December 20, 2005 - just in time for gift-giving.
The first Guns n\' Roses \"Greatest Hits\" collection, released by Geffen Records in March of 2004, has sold nearly 2.5 million copies in the U.S.
Guns n\' Roses vocalist Axl Rose, along with former guitarist Slash and ex-bassist Duff McKagan, tried to block this release with a lawsuit, claiming that the record label had assembled the CD without their input.
Geffen Records reacted by stating that they were forced to put out a greatest hits album since Axl Rose had failed to deliver the long-delayed new Guns album, \"Chinese Democracy\". That project started more than five years ago but has still not been scheduled for release. All drum tracks were played by Brian \"Brain\" Mantia (photo).
