EMI Music has expanded its U.S. deal with Century Media in an exclusive international licensing and distribution agreement with the U.K.- and Germany-based independent label, which has an extensive roster of hard rock and metal acts.

Century\'s product has been distributed in the U.S. by EMI\'s Caroline Distribution since 1997, and the music major will now distribute it throughout the U.K. and Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The first album due under the new arrangement is the new album \"This Godless Endeavor\" of Seattle band Nevermore (photo). Other Century Media acts include Arch Enemy, Lacuna Coil, Napalm Death, Shadows Fall and Dark Tranquillity.
No financial details have been disclosed.
EMI is the world\'s largest music publisher in terms of copyrights owned, controlled or administered, with rights to more than one million musical compositions and offices in 30 countries.
Composers and writers represented by EMI include David Bowie, Janet Jackson, Carole King, Queen, Lenny Kravitz, Phil Collins, Genesis and Robbie Williams.
