The new skinsman is successor of previous drummer Jeremy Dyck (see photo), who departed in 2004, and his temporary replacement Mike McGuire. The band write in a statement:

\"His [Wiebenga\'s] style is exactly what we had envisioned this new album to sound like.\"

Bloodshoteye will enter the sutdio for their sophomore album in September 2005. Their upcoming album is tentatively due in early 2006.

Bloodshoteye\'s debut CD, \"Without Any Remorse\" was issued in 2004. The album features a guest appearance by Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe.
