Why the funding?
Simple, just to pay the songwriters of the more than 20 legendary hits that were performed live on The Buddy Rich Shows. 10 years ago, Don Lombardi bought the footage of the shows for $100K. The past decade he has been moving heaven & earth to clear it with all the estates of the other artists.


Below you find a complete listing of the songs and artists performing with Buddy.

The extra $50-$65K needed to pay the songwriters makes this venture cost more than it will give revenues. The good thing is; you can be a part of it by supporting it and get your stream or dvd copy in combination with a lot of the extra's that the Indiegogo campaign offers. At press time the first backers already raised $1,458 of the $65,000 needed.

The three 1982 Buddy Rich Shows
In February 1985 Buddy Rich recorded three live performance television shows at the Statler Hotel in New York, featuring incredible performances from Buddy and his big band interspersed with ultra-rare outtakes and footage of Buddy chatting with his guests.
