"Unfortunately, over the past few years this number has reduced dramatically; this is due to problems either with recruiting members or finances to fund numerous trips to events."

This information was obtained through a survey that was sent to all previously-registered ensembles. IPE would like to thank all respondents for taking the time to provide an update on their current situation. A number of ensembles did not respond to the survey, which resulted in decisions being made without full representation

In having to cancel IPE's main event for two years consecutively, it brings the question whether IPE should still exist in its current form. The Scandinavian Regional in Sweden is still a viable, well supported and very enjoyable event, but championships is a cause for concern.
