Dubbed 'Superior Virtuosity', the eight-track compilation features Mike Mirro as writer, percussionist and playing keys. He is joined by guitarist Marco Villarreal and bassist Josh Hanchar.

The release's Bandcamp page states:

Like so many people who struggle to endure an affliction like bi-polar disorder, Mike Mirro had his share of ups and downs, periods of detachment and moments of clarity.

As early as the summer of 2011 Mike began experiencing some bouts of paranoia. He suffered from increased episodes of depression accompanied by withdrawing from socializing. Mike Mirro passed away on January 30, 2014.
