Original Korn drummer David Silveria is suing his former band mates for money owed after the band declined to allow the drummer back in the group following a lengthy break.
Celebrity news site TMZ reports that David has sued Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, and Reggie "Fieldy" Arvizu in an effort to reclaim the money owed to him and his 'ownership interest' in Korn since his departure from the group in 2006.
According to his law suit, David Silveria is particularly upset that his band mates wouldn't take him back following his own hiatus, although they did welcome back Brian Welch after he became a born-again Christian and left the group for seven years.
In 2006 David took a temporary break to go 'on hiatus'. He was followed-up by Ray Luzier, who was initially recruited to fill in temporarily but became a full-time member in 2009. When David tried to rejoin the band, they turned him away.
If David is repaid what he believes he is owed from the past nine years, he will dissolve his partnership with Korn.
David is currently residing in Huntington Beach, California where he opened a restaurant. He also joined a band called Infinika, which has released a debut album called 'Echoes And Traces'.
