Pune, Maharashtra-based alternative rock band Hourglass Inversion has announced Arka Das as their new drummer. Arka has over 17 years of experience as a drummer. He has previously performed with various indie acts in Calcutta and Pune including Sweet Leaf, Easy Riders, Ganga Groove, Five Little Indians, Span, Ganesh Talkies.
The Indian rockers have recruited Arka Das to replace previous sticksman Amit Godse.
Recently, Hourglass Inversion released their version of Vande Mataram, featuring previous drummer Amit. Their rendition of this patriotic track is unique because it merges alternative rock with classical elements, infusing new energy in the track that captures the youthful exuberance of our country.
