Thomas "The Druminator" Lang, world-renowned drummer, author, clinician and co-founding member of progressive heavy metal outfit Stork (also stylized as stOrk), has launched a crowdfunding campaign on indiegogo.com for their second studio album 'Broken Pieces'.
Thomas is well known for his freakishly advanced drumming skills, his award-winning 'Creative Coordination And Advanced Foot Technique' dvd and for organizing Big Drum Bonanza drum camps, among others.
Stork's co-founding member and guitarist Shane Gibson has toured with Korn.
After releasing their instrumental debut album in 2010, Stork wanted to sing on their second release. So they added front woman VK Lynne from Eve's Apple and Vita Nova to the line-up, as well as bassist Kelly Lemieux of Buckcherry and Goldfinger.
The new Stork launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund the recording of the new album, radio promo, video, and tour support. Watch the entertaining pitch video in which the Stork guys explain their need for cash:
