\"This is a very exciting time!\" quips drummer Ric Furley. At the end of this year, he will have completed 4 Austin based recordings.
Adrian and the Sickness \"Adrian for President\" was completed and released in January of 2006. Mundi\'s \"The Book and the Flower\" is in the mixing stage, as are as yet untitled recordings by The Billy Eli Band and Austin/New Orleans rockers Sabbath Crow.
Mundi\'s recording is being produced by longtime collaborator Eric Callistri, who was responsible for previous albums \"Apple Howling\" by Mundi, as well as \"Voyage into Indigo\" by Mundi\'s preceeding project Happy Valley. A CD release event is being planned for 2 November 2006 at Austin\'s Barr Mansion, 10463 Sprinkle Road, Austin, TX 78754. Bandmates include Furley on percussion, musical director Darrel Mayers on classical guitar, Carolyn Hagler on cello, Bruce Colson on violin, and Austin fireman Mario Gonzalez on bass guitar.
The Billy Eli Band is being self-produced by guitarist Jim Hemphill and bassist Joe Stack.
Sabbath Crow is recording by special invitation of members of Austin based band Trash Rockets, with Leon Oehlers at the controls, with production assistance by Rhodes D\'Ablo and Louis Sildecki. Sabbath Crow is comprised of Furley with New Orleans transplants Kristin Bybee on bass and J Bybee on lead guitar.
