The fourth lesson from Bruno Meeus\' book \'Dia Meters\' is about odd ostinato\'s in 3/16. Track five on the cd is \'Derwisj Dakota\'. You hear Bruno playing four different rhtyhms with his four limbs. An amazing piece of control and virtuousity which requeres some study to pull it off.

This lesson has two different topics:
1. Play solo against odd ostinato in 3/16:
2. Play the 3/16 ostinato against a single paradiddle

The 3/16th ostinato is played with one limb, against one, two or three other limbs simultaneously. Practice easy beats at first in order to improvise against the 3/16 ostinato. It may sound difficult but you can incorporate the excersises directy into a 4/4 framework.
