Since their inception into the mainstream rock world in 1981, Tommy Lee and Mötley Crüe have sold over 80 million albums. A mere 30 years later, the band continues to pack the house in stadiums and arenas, with their 'Crue Fest' tours.
About Tommy Lee Newly acquired Pearl artist Tommy Lee has become an icon in the drumming world and is considered to be one of the biggest drum influences of the last 25 years.
Known for the hard hitting, stick flipping, all-out powerful assault that he unleashes on his drums, Tommy Lee personifies what it is to be a rock drummer.
Aside from the drum solos that push the limits of sanity and defy the theories of gravity, Tommy’s rock drumming arsenal is filled with rolls and licks that expand much further than rock’s basic beats that land on 2 and 4.
On the road with E-Pro Live Tommy Lee has often incorporated many different odd-sized drums and large setups to heighten the visual aspect of a Crue concert - as if the pyrotechnics and flipping drum risers weren’t enough.
This summer, the limits will be pushed once again: Tommy will be using a custom built E-Pro Live electronic / acoustic kit.
