Turkish cymbal brand Impression has signed an exclusive deal with Percussion Plus for the distribution of their cymbals in the UK.

The company was launched in September 2010 by a number of experienced Turkish cymbal specialists.
Their range of handmade cymbals will launch in the UK on April 18th, with ten retailers already signed up to stock the array of ten different products.
At the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Impression spoke to a number of UK distributors but none of them had the same manufacturing base and they felt they wouldn't have the same synergy with them.
At the same time Percussion Plus had been looking for a cymbal manufacturer for a long time but couldn't find the quality they wished for in China.
Impression's line-up includes
Dark, which provide good stick definition with a darker sound
Rock, with a polished surface and cleaner, crisp sound.
Smooth, with controlled sustain and crash sound; Mixed, with two different surfaces – lathed and unlathed
Jazz with a soft feel
Dry Jazz, which are unlathed for dark and low tones.
