With the new Alpha Concert/Marching series, Paiste advances the sound quality and function of Alpha branded hand cymbals, based on the latest R & D efforts by Paiste’s Sound Development team.

Made entirely by hand in Switzerland, these cymbals deliver warmth, brilliance and richness in sound, and professional quality for a comparatively modest investment.

Alpha Concert/Marching cymbals are designed for universal application, ranging from indoor Ensemble and Concert to outdoor Marching and Drum Corps. The sizes available are 16”, 18”, and 20”.

As in Paiste’s top hand cymbal ranges, each pair of cymbals consists of two slightly different “A” and “B” versions, which combined achieve a greater pair sound.

Paiste Sound Technology series
The PST series ((which stands for Paiste Sound Technology) have been extended with the new PST 5 Band and PST 3 Band hand cymbals.

PST 5 Band and PST 3 Band series symbals are designed for universal contemporary concert, band and marching applications. They feature Paiste quality and consistency with proper sound and function, yet are affordable enough to fit any budget. PST 5 Band is offered in 14”, 16” and 18”, while PST 3 is offered in 14” and 16”.

Alpha Concert/Marching cymbals are entirely made by hand in Switzerland using traditional methods that have remained unchanged in over half a century. PST cymbals are crafted utilizing the transfer of extensive Swiss-based know-how and the essence of hand manufacturing principles into Paiste’s modern, hi-tech production.
