According to Harmonix, developer of Rock Band 4, we'll see a series of drum updates the coming months. The first update, slated for release in May, will offer the ability to plug in a second kick pedal on the standard drum kits.
Following the 2016 Roadmap, June will see the return of Practice Mode to the franchise. This mode lets you pick out specific sections of a song, slow them down, and really practice them.
Fall will bring a great update for owners of an Ion Rocker drum kit, which was designed specifically for Rock Band.
Since the Ion drum kit was designed for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft doesn't allow the use of 360 peripherals on the Xbox One, ION kit owners have not been able to use their favorite drum kit.
But Harmonix has teamed up with PDP to release a special adapter that will let drummers use their kit on the Xbox One.
Last but not least: the Rock Band team is hard at work on online multiplayer capabilities for the game.
