"LP's heritage is deeply rooted in the soul of New York City. The Cuban and Puerto Rican rhythms and the sounds of the city’s streets are the foundation of this company. Moving back to NYC feels like going home."
Anticipated to open in mid-February, the new LP showroom is located in the historic music district on 48th street. As DW President and CEO Chris Lombardi describes:
"When I was a kid, we sold to Manny's Music and Sam Ash on 48th street. These iconic stores have moved out of the area, so it feels good to bring the music back; I even noticed the original store signs are still there! We’re thrilled and honored to be bringing LP back to NYC."
The new showroom will service Latin Percussion artists by appointment and will be open to the public by contacting Jess Birch or Hayden Hawkins at Steve's Maxwell's New York retail shop at 212-730-8138.
