In honor of Rush's 40th Anniversary Tour, which kicked off on May 8th in Tulsa, Oklahoma, DW invites drummers and Rush fans to enter the "Not Tom Sawyer” video contest. By filming yourself playing drums along to your favorite Rush song you not only enter the contest, but you pay tribute to legendary Rush drummer Neil Peart as well. You can win a DW Performance Series Time Machine Snare. A unique snare, because it is part of the DW Time Machine drumset used on Rush's 'Clockwork Angels' tour. It was never sold to the public. The "Not Tom Sawyer" video contest rules
Don't send in a Fly by Night video - the audio/video quality must be usable
Use your freewill to pick any Rush track to play, except Tom Sawyer.
Send YouTube/Vimeo/etc, links to your videos to contest@dwdrums.com
the deadline is: Friday, May 29th 2015
The winner will be announced on Friday, June 5th at 12:00 PT.
