The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in London, UK has once again launched scholarship awards for its renowned higher diploma. The modern music school's scholarships are sponsored by a number of big-name music brands including cymbal company Zildjian.
For the first time there will be two scholarships in the drums/percussion discipline; one for UK applications and another for international candidates.
The award offers the successful entrants fully funded places, which are worth £5950 (9775 USD or more than 7200 euro) for UK based students and £7200 (nearly 11900 USD or 8750 euro) for international students.
The one-year intensive course for musicians is specially designed to fast-track students' development and encourage them to discover their creative potential.
Apply your entry In order to apply for this great opportunity, entrants must complete an application form and submit a video of them performing.
The finalists will be chosen by judges at the Institute who will then attend an interview and the live final before the winners are announced.
Closing date for entries is 10th March 2014. The scholarships are open to anyone. All entry criteria and the application form are available on ICMP's website.
