Eric Stevenson, also ex-Formicide, formed Only Living Witness in 1989 with vocalist Jonah Jenkins. The Massachusetts-based band’s first recording, which was self-titled, was released in 1990 on cassette. Two years later, the four-piece signed with Century Media Records and released two albums with the label.
The group split up in October 1995, but reformed very briefly in 2008 for four reunion shows: three in their native Massachusetts and a final show in the Netherlands.
Eric did manage to play the final reunion shows in the USA, but didn’t join the band for their last European show in Eindhoven at the Loud From The South festival.
