The remains of 32-year-old Daniel Bobis, who played drums in Long Island, New York punk band Cipher and went missing after wiping out on a wave during a morning surf session in southern Sumatra, have been found."Daniel Bobis has passed away. Daniel Bobis apparently hit another surfer's board after emerging from the barrel of a powerful, 10-foot (3 meter) wave. His leash broke and his board washed to shore.
The body was taken to a hospital for autopsy and will be cremated in the provincial capital of Bandar Lampung at his family's request.
