'One More Night In New York City' is a live recording of one of three performances by the band in February at the BB King Blues Club & Grill, New York in 2003. These shows were a rare opportunity for all Mike Portnoy fans to see the master drummer at work behind a minimal drum kit.
Yellow Matter Custard is not your average cover band. Guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big, Racer X), multi-instrumentalist Neal Morse (formerly of Spock's Beard) and bassist Kasim Sulton (Utopia) are also part of Mike's project.
All are highly in-demand musicians and that's why the group rarely performs live.
On the double cd and dvd are Beatles songs like Back In The USSR, Day Tripper, Paperback Writer and Penny Lane.
