Patrik Heikinpieti, drummer with Swedish chartbreakers Mando Diao, has joined Paiste's family of artists. Patrik joined Mando Diao in May, following Samuel Giers' departure from the band.

Patrick’s dream was to perform the unplugged show in Zermatt, Switzerland using the same cymbal sound Samuel had at Mando Diao's highly acclaimed MTV concert.
Patrik found his ideal sound with the Paiste Signature Traditionals setup: 17" and 18" Thin Crashes, 22" Light Ride and 14" Medium Light Hi-Hat.
Patrik’s Paiste Traditionals can also be heard at the upcoming acoustic gigs in Berlin as well as the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals.
Paiste artist roster expanded Paiste has also added several other percussionists to their artist family, including: Risto Niinikoski (Tartu Mikkinn aka 'Grab The Mic'), Alex Pohn (Tyler, Hubert von Goisern), Lars Skoglund (Lykke Li), Paul Bonney (The Australian Pink Floyd Show), Mark Heaney (Gang Of Four), Paul Crosby (Saliva), Joe Gonzales (La Mafia), Paul Marangoni (Trio of Stridence), Zac Mayfield (Oh, Sleeper), Michael McManus (12 Stones) plus independent artist Mike Michalkow.
