Around 3:30 am, 38-year-old Brian Edward Krebs got into an argument with the bartender over the amount of his tab. Krebs refused to pay and was subsequently thrown out. But soon afterward Krebs returned to resume his argument, brandishing two steak knives.
When drummer Jimmy Pagano tried to intervene, he was stabbed in the neck by Krebs and fell to the floor.
Police say two customers and two employees were injured during the melee.
While bar staff leapt onto Krebs, who wounded five other people before being subdued, Jimmy Pagano laid bleeding excessively from his neck wound.
Krebs is now facing a first-degree murder charge and four counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He remains at Broward General Medical Center in police custody.
