According to the police department in Mitaka, Tokyo, the incident occurred at around 9 pm on Thursday, February 10.

Police received a call from a woman in a private residence, who said that she had heard a loud sound.

She discovered that the glass window of her bathroom was broken.

An officer arrived at the scene about 10 minutes later. He spotted Toshiki Hata and called out to him, but Toshiki Hata didn't reply and just rammed the officer with his body.

The drummer, who lives in an apartment near the scene of the incident, was drunk at the time. Toshiki Hata later stated to police that he doesn't remember what happened.
