The group's upcoming appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on January 20 will be the drummer's last with the band.
Kenny Bernard will take Gabriel's place behind the drum kit for the band's current tour. Whether Kenny will join them as a full-time member is unclear yet.
Ra Ra Riot's original drummer John Pike was found dead while the band was on its 2007 tour.
Gabriel Duquette joined Ra Ra Riot as their drummer in August 2008. Gabriel, who had opened for Ra Ra Riot a few times while he drummed in Sam Buck Rosen's band, auditioned after second sticksman Cameron Wisch decided to focus on school.
Gabriel Duquette played on several Ra Ra Riot releases, the last one being 2010's full-length 'The Orchard'.
