Cory Monteith, so far best known from starring in Glee, has joined alternative rock band Bonnie Dune as their drummer.

The actor - who plays Finn Hudson on the popular musical tv series - will show off his real-life drumming skills when the group plays its first gig next month.
The show will take place at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles, on January 9, 2011.
