Both men, charged with assault, deny repeatedly kicking and punching alleged victim Craig Carnie on his head and body last month.
After Steven and Bryan both pleaded not guilty to the offence, sheriff Daniel Kelly cleared the case to go to trial in February. Bail was not opposed.
After the case was called, Steven Morrison rushed to Glasgow where he joined up with his band for a gig at Queen Margaret Union as part of their current UK tour.
