Zak Bond, who has been quite busy demonstrating Yamaha's new DTX drum systems since its debut at the NAMM Show last January, has officially launched his own international business called Zak Bond inc."My first focus is to further develop the network of musicians and artists in the greater Tokyo area. I'll be hosting events starting at the end of this month running through mid October, entitled Tokyo Groove Nights!"
Tokyo Groove Nights! will take place at Kick Back Cafe in Tokio. Volume 1 on April the 30th will feature Outer Rim, Chris Hardy, and Groove Sonic. Tokyo Groove Nights! Volume 2 on May the 29th will feature Jeff Curry Trio, Michael Washington, Lyle Carr, Zak Bond and a drum session.
