Patrick recently graduated from The Musicians Institute in Hollywood.
He plays many different instruments, but Diddy needed him on the kettle drums.
Patrick received an e-mail saying Diddy needed a percussionist for the Idol performance. Patrick auditioned, and Diddy gave him his national television debut
