In related news: Steven Adler has just released his first instructional drum dvd called \'Steven Adler\'s Getting Started With Rock Drumming\'. He demonstrates techniques, grooves and fills designed for the beginning rock drummer.

Steven teaches parts of the drums; the pyramid of rhythms, basic rock beats, rock fills, dynamics and more, discussing his own influences and history with the drums.

The dvd features Adler\'s Appetite/ex-Quiet Riot guitarist Alex Grossi, Chip Z\'Nuff and Michael Thomas jamming with Steven, as well as Steven teaching the basics of rock drumming aimed towards beginners.

Steven recently recorded a guest appearance on former Guns n\' Roses and current Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash\'s solo record. The track, which marks their professional reunion, also features Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
