Rhapsody Of Fire drummer Alex Holzwarth held a drum clinic a the Drumlab studio in Stuttgart, Germany on April 24, 2009. Video footage of his appearance is now available. Alex explained exercises to improve double bass playing, coordination and independance, including a blast beat variation based on alterning hands and feet (rh lf lh rf).
Alex also held a drum and bass masterclass withd his brother, bassist Oliver Holzwarth, earlier this month. The Holzwarth brother performed in Germany and Austria. Besides playing classic songs they demonstrated and discussed everything related to performing different kind of music as a tight rhythm section.
