According to TMZ, the suit states that Buckner \"desires to dissolve Papa Roach\" and wants a share of profits, plus damages.
Dave Buckner was a founding member of the US rock band until he was replaced by Tony Palermo due to substance abuse. Dave departed the group briefly in early 2007 to enter a rehab centre.
However, after his departure from Papa Roach, Dave Buckner remained a partner in the various companies the group formed.
In the lawsuit, the drummer claims his former band received loans from their record company and other establishments for music recording and promotion under the guise of the LLC he created with the band over a decade ago.
He alleges the band finagled their income, such as royalties, in a way to cut him out of his rightly owed compensation.
