On November 5, Drummerszone.com endorser Airto Moreira will be playing with Flora Purim and Eyedentity at a fundraiser for the Brazilian student Jos� Ribamar Ribeiro Neto. The 24-year old Brazilian student, was shot in the face on September 16 in Calgary downtown (Canada). As a result of this crime, he is totally and permanently blind.

A great deal of people is moving along to support him face with challenges his new condition asks of him towards recovering and pursuing his dreams.

The Brazilian Community Association of Alberta is holding a fundraising concert Nov. 5 at the Jack Singer Concert Hall featuring Brazilian jazz artists Flora Purim and Airto Moreira.
