Link not only hopes to land himself in the Guinness Book of World Records, he also plans to to raise money for the Akron Children\'s Medical Center and local youth group the BlackHawks.
The Canton, Ohio based drummer will begin his attempt at noon on Friday June 27, 2008 at the Margarita Factory in his hometown. The Margarita Factory will remain open all weekend long until Link\'s done.
Link\'s set list during his upcoming attempt to set a new world record will include songs by AC/DC, Brian Setzer, Creed, Glenn Miller Orchestra, John Mayer, Mötley Crüe, Nickelback, and Toto.
Link Logan set his first world record by playing his bassdrum with 160 bpm for 14 hours and 38 minutes and the other one by playing 432 bpm for 10 hours and 30 minutes.
