Amebix, recognized as one of the most influential ponderous bands ever, was born in Bristol, UK during the summer of 1978. They got their first boost from Crass, and their last tour ended, appropriately, in Sarajevo on the verge of chaos.

The renewed Amebix line-up had announced a new dvd called \'The Risen\', which will be available late summer 2008.
