Former Testament/Slayer drummer Jon Dette, currently playing with Southern California\'s Pushed, has completed work on the band\'s new three-song demo. Comments Dette:\"Well, we finally finished recording three new songs and they\'re now online to check out on MySpace.\"
Pushed started the recording process for this demo back in March 2007 and mixing . wrapped up in early December. They recorded and mixed the demo at Grove Addicts in Santa Monica, CA. Continues the drummer:
\"Absolutely beautiful studio! Chief engineer (and dear friend) Gerhard Joost (Stewart Copeland, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder) did an amazing job engineering as well as producing. He really went above and beyond for this project.\"
John Dette threw down the drums in a day:
\"No beat detective or ProTools used on any of the drum tracks so you might hear some hick-ups here and there. Gerhard tried his best to get me to cross over to the dark side. Lol. But at the end of the day, I think the natural feel of my raw drum tracks sound so much better without all that synthetic crap on them.\"
