P4 Practice Pad
Pat Petrillo\'s signature practice pad has 4 different types of rubbers on the same side (no flipping), and 3 levels, so moving around it is like moving around the kit. \"Once you play it, you\'ll never want to practice on a \"standard\" pad again\", according to the drummer. Groovallegiance recording sessions
After rehearsing for months, Pat Petrillo and Groovallegiance went into Studio Crash in Philly early December. He laid down the tracks for what will be \"an exciting cd/multi media project\". Groovallegiance consists of Pat Petrillo on drums and percussion, Gary Grainger on bass, Chieli Minucci on guitar, and Chris Fischer on keyboards. Comments Pat:

\"I used my vintage Ludwig kit that I\'ve had for a while, (1969!) on a few of the tracks, outfitted with Remo coated ambassadors, and the new Powersonic Bass Drum head. It was sweeet. I also used the new 20\" Armand Series Ride, Crashes, and Hats. Amazing sound! The best way to describe it is, they have a \"shimmer\" to them. Warm, yet with a wonderful, consistent sustain. A cross between a K Zildjian, and an A Zildjian. \"Beautiful, Baby\"!\"
