Tony Laureano, one of most sought after extreme metal session drummers, will lay down the drum tracks for Sanctification\'s long-awaited second album. The recording sessions for the as-yet-untitled cd will take place next spring at the Abyss Studios in Sweden. The upcoming album is set for a summer/fall 2008 release via Pulverised Records.\"The loss of Nils [Fjällström] was a big one but this feels like a fresh start for us, and we are very happy and honoured that Tony wants to do this with us. He is a great guy and a fantastic drummer, so this feels absolutely awesome. The writing of the album is in full progress and as soon as all the songs are done we will start to plan the recording accordingly.\"
Sanctification is a Swedish death metal band featuring current/members of God Among Insects, In Battle and Souldrainer. Sanctification\'s debut album, \'Misanthropic Salvation\', was released in 2003 through Remission Records.
